My sisters and I wanted to give my parents a nice, relaxing, birthday surprise this year, so along with renting a beach house in La Jolla (San Diego) for a weekend, we also thought it would be nice to treat them to a hour-long full body massage. My dad isn’t too keen on going to spas, so our choice was limited to finding a therapist that serviced clients at home. Since we are not from San Diego, we took our search online and found A Magic Touch Mobile Massage. After calling and speaking to Ddee (who was very helpful) to inquire about services and pricing, we decided to go ahead and book as the price was very reasonable. The day of, the two therapists arrived on time to set up, and were very friendly. Along with the massage tables and oils, they came equipped with relaxing music and candles, which only improved the experience for my parents. Once finished, my parents came downstairs and had, what we called, “gumby” bodies; they sank into the couch and didn’t move for an hour, in that post-massage rubber-body stage.
